MEET MIKE GLASS

Mike is a procurement leader with experience working in senior procurement management positions that includes NVIDIA, Google, Meta, Fitbit, Delta Dental, and Flextronics.  Each of these companies were at different phases in their procurement maturity. 

Mike resides in Woodside, California, with his wife, Kathy. They  have two  children with successful careers: a daughter at a Fintech startup and a son at a Healthcare startup. Mike swims a mile nearly every day with his goal to swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco. Also, he is an avid photographer who enjoys doing photo shoots for relatives and friends.

Built very strong partnerships with the business to lead key strategic sourcing events

Built a strong relationship with FP&A (Finance) to drive spend optimization

Created procurement policies in partnership with Finance to enhance governance/compliance

Leveraged on India for low cost procurement resources both thru shared services and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) models

Created a strategic sourcing process to make it an objective process by ranking all key sourcing criteria

Built spend analytics from scratch & then enhanced by using data normalization and reportwriters

Developed many sourcing category strategies in partnership with the affected business units

Implemented many procurement tools (P2P, contract, esig, RFX)  including Coupa and SAP

Implemented CB (Competitive Bids) for the business for non-managed spend
